Mhubiri tata Paul Mackenzie ataendelea kuramba maisha ya kizuizini kwa siku zingine 47 baada ya mahakama moja ya Shanzu kuwaruhusu polisi kuendelea kumzuilia. 

Hakimu Mkuu wa mahakama ya Shanzu Yusuf Shikanda alielekeza kwamba Mackenzie pamoja na washtakiwa wengine wenza 28 wasalie kizuizini kwa kipindi cha siku zingine 47 ili kuruhusu kukamilishwa kwa uchunguzi.

Mackenzie amekuwa kizuizini kwa siku 90 zilizopita.

Agosti 2, 2023, kiongozi wa mashtaka alitaka polisi wakubaliwe kuendelea kuwazuilia washukiwa hao kwa wiki zisizopungua saba ili kuruhusu kukamilishwa kwa uchunguzi.

Hii ni kutokana na kuthibitishwa kwa vifo zaidi ya 400 katika msitu wa Shakahola, vifo anavyohusishwa navyo Mackenzie ambaye ni mhubiri wa dhehebu la Good News  International. Mhubiri huyo anakabiliwa na mashtaka kadhaa ya ukiukaji wa haki za binadamu.

Mackenzie, mkewe Rhoda Maweu na washtakiwa wenza wanakabiliwa na zaidi ya mashtaka 21 ikiwa ni pamoja na mauaji ya halaiki.
