Wanariadha wa Kenya wataendelea kusaka medali ya kwanza huku makala ya 19 ya mashindano ya Riadha Ulimwenguni yakiingia siku ya pili Jumapili mjini Budapes Hungary.

Kutakuwa na fainali mbili zitakazowashirikisha Wakenya mita 10,000 wanaume kuanzia saa moja na dakiak 25 usiku.

Kenya itawakilishwa na Benard Kibet,Nicholas Kimeli na Daniel Simiu Ebenyo huku wakikinzana na bingwa mtetezi Joshua Cheptegei kutoka Uganda na Selemon Barega wa Ethioipia miongoni mwa washindano wengine.

Bingwa wa jumuiya ya madola Ferdinand Omanyala atashuka uwanjani saa kumi Alasiri kwa nusu fainali ya mita 100 na ikiwa atafaulu atakuwa kwenye fainali ya saa mbili na dakika 10 usiku.

Mashindano mengine yatakayowashirikisha wanariadha wa Kenya ni mchujo  mita 400 wanaume Boniface Mweresa akitimka  na mita 400 kuruka viunzi zikimshirikisha Wiseman Were.

Bingwa mtetezi  Faith Kipyegon atawaongoza wenzake katika semi fainali ya mita 1500 wakiwemo Edinah Jebitok na Nelly Chepchirchir na kisha baadaye nusu fainali ya wanaume ambapo Timothy Cheruiyot,Abel Kipsang na Reynold Kipkorir watashiriki.

Marekani ingali kuongoza msimamo wa nishani kwa medali 3 dhahabu 2 na shaba 1,ikifuatwa na Uhispania  kwa dhahabu 2 huku Ethiopia ikiwa ya tatu kwa dhahabu 1 fedha 1 na shaba 1.

Mashindano hayo yanarushwa mubashara na runinga ya taifa KBC Channel 1.
